Client Assessment Practice Simulation (CAPS)
The Client Assessment Practice Simulation (CAPS) is a prototype simulation that allows learners to practice their social work interviewing and assessment skills on a virtual client. The learner must enter their thoughts and inquiries free-form (not multiple-choice), and in turn the instructor gets transcripts for insights on the learner’s technique and progress.
CAPS is a result of the collaboration of the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Simulation & Training (IST) and UCF’s College of Health and Public Affairs.
