Eksploria

Last June, E2i designers toured a group of developers from Malmo, Sweden around EPCOT. Their visit to Orlando was to meet with us and other designers from the education and entertainment industries on conceptualizing the next generation of “Experience Park”. Their goal is to seamlessly combine the core elements of the classic theme park and science center, to challenge and inspire guests to explore what they as individuals can do to improve the world regarding climate change and other environmental issues.

Eksploria has been in the planning stages since then, and a recent update shows that they are honing in on large organizing principles of Humankind, Civilization and Environment as they develop their experience concepts and narratives. Their current timetable moves the project into the fundraising and partnership stage in the fall of 2011. We look forward to updating you on this exciting endeavor across the pond!
